About Us
Serving individuals with visual impairments through Christ-centered care, accessibility, and community.
Our Mission: Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus
"Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Vision on Christ was founded on the conviction that every person, regardless of visual ability, deserves to experience the fullness of God's love and purpose. We exist to bridge the gap between spiritual support and practical assistance, recognizing that true vision comes from seeing Christ clearly.
Our ministry serves individuals with visual impairments, their families, and caregivers through counseling, support groups, assistive technology programs, and comprehensive resources. We believe that walking by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), is not just a spiritual principle but a lived reality for those in our community.
Every service we offer, every resource we provide, and every connection we facilitate is rooted in the transformative power of the Gospel and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Our Approach
All services and programs are rooted in biblical principles and the transformative power of the Gospel. We seek to honor God in every interaction and point individuals toward Jesus as the ultimate source of hope and healing.
We are committed to WCAG 2.1 AA standards and beyond, ensuring that every aspect of our ministry—from website design to program delivery—is fully accessible to individuals with varying degrees of visual impairment.
No one should walk their journey alone. We create spaces for individuals and families to connect, share experiences, and support one another through virtual support groups, events, and ongoing communication.
Beyond spiritual encouragement, we provide tangible assistance including assistive technology, resource directories, educational materials, and connections to partner services that address real-world needs.
Our Story
Vision on Christ began as a calling from God to serve a community that is often overlooked in traditional ministry settings. The founders of Lord's Instrument Ministry recognized that individuals with visual impairments face unique challenges—not only in daily life but also in accessing spiritual support and community connection.
Inspired by the biblical truth that we "walk by faith, not by sight," the ministry was established to demonstrate that physical vision is not a prerequisite for experiencing God's presence, purpose, and power. Through years of listening to the needs of the visually impaired community, we developed programs that combine spiritual depth with practical accessibility.
Today, Vision on Christ serves individuals and families across the nation through virtual counseling, support groups, assistive technology programs, and comprehensive resources. We continue to grow and adapt, always seeking to honor God and serve His people with excellence, compassion, and dignity.
